Field Detail

font

<static> Object font

The current font metrics. Elements of this Object are all in px:
size: font size (height without descenders, as specified with CSS font-ize),
width: resulting font width,
is: additional interline spacing,
height: resulting line height (as specified with CSS line-height).

lwSetFont

lwSetFont(<int> size, <int> is)

Sets the host screen font size. Note: does not modify window size or scroll position. For "wide screens" (more than 80 cols) we compress the font width by specified number of px.

Parameters:
size - the new font size in px
if missing (no args specified): returns current font.
if is missing (only one arg specified): decrement/increment current font:
+2: increments current size; is is default
+1: increments current is (and size, if required)
0: no change
-1: decrements current is (and size, if required)
-2: decrements current size; is is default
is - the additional interline spacing in px - should be large enough to accomodate descenders;
if "+"/"-": increments / decrements current is;
if missing: use default value (3px ?)

Returns:
{Object} the current font metrics Object.
